| Job Description |
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in installation, alterations / modifications, and maintenance of facility’s systems and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide maintenance support for second shift operations, including but not limited to repairs and PM’s for dock equipment, forklift, conveyors, and other duties necessary to support Spirit Lake operations.
* Carry out specific assignments as directed by the Maintenance Work Order system and supervisor’s instructions.
* Install new equipment or work with outside vendors on installation.
* Make required alterations / modifications to equipment and systems.
* Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on systems, machinery and equipment.
* Trouble shooting of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and hydraulic systems.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining maintenance standards and procedures.
* Perform maintenance projects as assigned.
* Ability and willingness to work overtime as required; on-call duty may be required over holidays and weekends.
* Work in safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations.
* Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area in compliance with 5-Pillar Standards.
* Complete company provided training.
* Participate in PCI process.
* Perform special projects as assigned.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Technical degree such as electrical or mechanical maintenance strongly preferred.
* 1-2 years previous maintenance experience required for entry level positions.
* Ability to communicate well with others.
* Welding experience preferred.
* Ability and willingness to work overtime as required; on-call duty may be required over holidays and weekends.
* Ability to work well with little supervision.
* Tooling Experience strongly preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to work Thursday through Sunday; 10 hour shifts
