MANUFACTURING ENGINEER II

• Using lean manufacturing tools, recommends changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout, product design, and employee output as a basis for increasing production, reducing cost, improving safety, morale and quality.
• Leads engineering projects through all phases.
• Reviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures, bills of material, and route sheets.
• Initiates engineering change orders per the engineering change order procedure.
• Manages daily line issues as it relates to equipment and production.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Three plus years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Experience managing projects using lean manufacturing tools and techniques
• Working knowledge of computer application; experience with AutoCad and/or SolidWorks preferred
• Project management skills
• Ability to communicate clearly to internal customers including production employees
