MANUFACTURING ENGINEER II
- Using lean manufacturing tools, recommends changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout, product design, and employee output as a basis for increasing production, reducing cost, improving safety, morale and quality.
- Leads engineering projects through all phases.
- Reviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures, bills of material, and route sheets.
- Initiates engineering change orders per the engineering change order procedure.
- Manages daily line issues as it relates to equipment and production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Three plus years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Experience managing projects using lean manufacturing tools and techniques
- Working knowledge of computer application; experience with AutoCad and/or SolidWorks preferred
- Project management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly to internal customers including production employees

- Leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and provide clear direction in a production work environment.
